Welcome to the homepage of Dr. Hazeli's research group at The University of Alabama in Huntsville. Our research is to conduct fundamental studies on processing-microstructure-property relationships on deformation, fatigue, impact, and failure of materials. Material development is critical to engineering innovation in a multitude of sectors including clean energy, aerospace, and defense. In next decades, multifunctional materials will provide a powerful leverage point for manufacturing sector not only by the inception of advanced materials to deliver superior properties, but also by enhancing the performance and value of complex systems thereby improving economy.
